Malahierba Vinos was born in 2019 guided by the peculiarity of the Sierra de Salamanca and its varieties
autochthonous grape varieties, such as Rufete and Rufete Blanco. In the vineyards with which we work the weeds
they are part of the landscape, no herbicide is used and they indicate that they are vineyards free of harmful products.
The names of our wines are weeds.
We have made wines with grapes from different towns in the Sierra, different plots and with
different varieties.
Malahierba 2020: 100% Rufete in chestnut barrels.
Soldier Galante 2020: Rufete, Calabrés, Aragonés and white Rufete in French oak barrels.
Corregüela 2019: 100% Rufete made in a clay pot.
Viuda Silvestre 2019: 100% White Rufete fermented and aged in French oak barrels.
Maleza 2020: 100% Rufete in French oak barrels.
